Do the outlying villages pay more?
They do not. One rate applies across everything on this page, whether the property is five minutes from the Minster or out towards the Wolds.
Beyond the list, pick up the phone. You will get a plain yes or no rather than an inflated figure designed to discourage you.

Ring anyway. The list sets out where we work week in, week out, rather than marking a hard boundary.
A full property justifies a drive that a single dormer cheek would not, so how far we will travel depends partly on the size of the job.
Do you go towards Harrogate or Leeds?
As a rule, no. We run outward from the city as far as Easingwold, Pocklington, Stamford Bridge and Tockwith, and stop before the Harrogate side.
If you sit somewhere between the two, give us the postcode over the phone. Answering that takes seconds.
Does our address change the price?
Distance does not. Access can. A narrow street with nowhere to park and a long carry from the van genuinely takes more labour than a detached property with a driveway alongside it.
That is all apparent on the site visit and gets built into the written figure, rather than appearing as an extra once work has started.
