A few things first
When could somebody come and look?
Ordinarily inside a week. If a completion date or a site programme is setting the pace, tell us on the first call and we will try to move you forward.
If the date you need is not one we can meet, you will hear that straight away rather than discovering it later.
Do you charge to quote?
No, and there is nothing at the end of it either. The visit, the measure, sounding the walls and the written figure all cost nothing and oblige you to nothing.
Nobody will ring you three times afterwards. Take as long as you like over it.
Could you give us a ballpark first?
Sometimes a range, if you can describe the property and send images of the walls in question. It is enough to tell you whether the idea is worth pursuing.
It is not a quotation and we will not present it as one. The real number arrives after somebody has been on site.
Why is there no email address on the site?
Because an inbox nobody is watching is worse than no inbox at all. We answer the phone and we answer the form.
The form on this page reaches us directly. Put your email address into it if you would rather correspond in writing and we will reply that way.
What helps most before a visit?
Images of each wall you are considering, taken square on rather than from an angle, and close-ups of anything cracked or drummy.
Add what you know about how the walls are built, and any shade or nearby property you have your eye on. It removes two or three exchanges from the process.
Is it the same people throughout?
The person who prices the job is the person you keep dealing with, and the crew does not change halfway through.
Nothing gets passed to a panel of contractors. If it turns out the work is not for us, we say so rather than handing your number on.
